FLUORINE
Fluorine is a highly dangerous element, causing severe chemical burns on contact with the skin.

Fluorine is the most reactive and electronegative of all elements.

OCCURRENCE

USES
Fluorine is used in the synthesis of organic fluorine compounds.
Fluorine is used in the manufacture of Freon (i.e. dichlorodifluoromethane, CCl2F2) which is used as a refrigerant.
Fluorine is used in the manufacture of uranium hexafluoride which is required for the separation of the isotopes of uranium in centrifuges.

REACTIONS
Fluorine reacts explosively with hydrogen even in the dark and at low temperature.

Fluorine reacts violently with water forming hydrogen fluoride, and liberates oxygen which is highly charged with ozone.

oh, & don’t forget kiddies, there’s lots of OTHER trace-elements & chemicals in your water that ALSO make nasty by-products when in contact with fluoride/chlorine/iodine etc. too, whether cold, warm, or boiled, even before you ADD foods, food acids, food alkalines, tannin from tea, caffiene, herbs & spices etc., & that “group 7” really cuts sick on the volatility scales, it, ie, all the elements in it, react with pretty much anything, if they had dicks they’d fuck the crack of dawn so to speak…
